How Monitree fits with Emma.
1. Treat Monitree as the plan
Keep income, budget lines and category totals here as the source of truth.
2. Keep budget lines current
Update paid amount, frequency, schedule, category and term dates when a payment changes.
3. Use Emma handoff
Copy recurring payments and category budgets into Emma, then tick them off.
4. Use Review for quality checks
Run a guided review or mark individual items when Monitree data needs checking.
5. Back up before big changes
Download a backup before imports, large edits, releases or tax-year rollover.
6. Keep access simple
Use only Martin and Ayse accounts. Never put a Supabase service-role key in the browser app.
